Understanding Custom PAT Test Labels
Self-adhesive labels are applied to electrical equipment after portable appliance testing, recording the inspection result, test date, and next scheduled test. Manufactured on polypropylene rather than paper, our PAT test labels are tear-resistant and remain secure on equipment surfaces throughout the test period.
Standard PAT Test Label Formats
Our standard range covers passed, failed, a passed and failed bundle, 4th edition passed, fuse rating, visual inspection, and plain writeable formats. All are 50x25mm on gloss polypropylene with permanent adhesive in rolls of 1000. The bundle includes 1000 passed labels and 20 free failed labels, covering the typical ratio needed across most testing scenarios.
Custom Printed PAT Test Labels
For electricians and PAT testing companies requiring branded labels, our custom printed option is available in 50x25mm green polypropylene with permanent adhesive. Custom labels can include company name, inspection result fields, test and retest dates, appliance identification numbers, and inspector details, helping create consistent documentation across multiple properties or clients.
4th Edition PAT Test Labels
Our 4th edition passed labels reflect the current IET Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment. If your organisation follows 4th edition testing guidelines, these are the appropriate format to use alongside your testing records.
